The benefactor for this art collection is a business man who is interested in fine art. Moreover, his venture revolves around real estate business. He organized the event with the intention of bringing attention to the real estate industry and in addition be able to engage fine art with designs of real estate properties. The chosen collection showcases differences in art pieces in terms of genre, period and price.

The art collection was solely based on fine art because of its every appreciating value. It is clear that the value of decorative art depreciates over time while fine art’s value does not. Also, clients buy fine art for its intrinsic artistic value which is a key tool in representing culture and values within the society. Moreover, the fact that fine art has an interesting dimension and emotional touch will make it to be appreciated more over time.

Also, this particular design of collection was chosen because real estate customers often seek the type of art that will enhance the aesthetic value of their products. This is important for the company since it is the goal of the company to showcase how art is an integral part of the company and how art influences the social and cultural profile of the company. In many of his speeches, the benefactor has been noted stating that promoting contemporary art is part of Company X’s wider commitment to culture. The company perceives itself with the duty to expand its collection.

The reason behind this is the fact that a lively collection and one that promotes culture is characterized as a collection that incorporates and communicates the latest developments in art. The acquisitions consist principally of art by distinguished UK contemporary artists, but also include art by young artists. The purchase of ‘young’ art in particular by artists in UK contributes to a conscientious policy of support and is part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility. The people who will attend the art collection have opportunities to be familiar with aesthetic concepts associated with contemporary art in the course of their normal working day.

The relationship between art and real estate

There is a close relationship between fine art and real estate even if the relationship does not seem apparent. One of the vivid relationship between the two is that they both enhance the value of each other; art sells real estates and similarly, real estate sells art. There have been long established links between property and art. Research shows that fine art and real estate markets are both growing rapidly. A similarity between the two is that they both exhibit the characteristics of international wealth markets. Also, fine art has developed into an asset class, just like real estate.

For a long time, there has been a close relationship between real estate and art since they both benefit each other. It is apparent that art adds a certain kind of friendly and appealing atmosphere to a home. Creation of such an atmosphere is paramount importance towards successful sale of a property in particular, a real estate. Highly priced items such as the selected fine items are common among luxury real estate buyers. Usually, the target customers of real estates are the same target customers for fine art.

Therefore, integrating the two products will be beneficial for the business. Even though there is a possibility that there is no much sale can be made during the exhibition, the collection is meant to act as a means of creating exposure and advertising the products as well as promoting artists from the UK. This collection will present an event whereby the individual customers of individual products will have a chance of experiencing the advantages of other products. In this way, some fine art customers can be attracted to the real estates and the vice versa.
