NUR 3225 Mock NCLEX exam Frequently Asked Questions And Final Exam Predictor 2024
Mock NCLEX exam Frequently Asked Questions I have a question about #74. I understand why the first choice is wrong, the second choice has nothing to do with BP, but the third (which was given as the correct answer) says to change the position to side-lying. Isn't one of the first things we are supposed to do is to have the patient lay on their left side if they are hypertensive in order to decrease the BP? If their BP is already low, then I don't want it to drop more...HELP!!! If you put the patient on her left side then this will increase the blood flow to the placenta and thus the baby... predictor test: since the BP dropped... the CO output dropped and this would mean that the baby would not be getting the blood that the baby needs. I understand that you have to get more right than wrong...but there has to been a % more right than wrong.. If I take 75 ?'s and I get 45 right does that mean that the computer should shut off? There has to be a point when the computer says that it is more right than wrong??? My first time doing the MOCK NCLEX I got 91/125 that is obviously more right than wrong but is not that great. So how would you say that 91/125 is? THANK YOU! I know you want to have a % BUT the NCLEX is not graded with a %.... you have to get more right than wrong...Again...Well... if you take 75 questions... and remember you will only be "graded" on 60 of those b/c 15 (if you are taking the RN test) are pre-test questions that dont count for or against you and you dont know which questions they are.... you would have to get more right out of those 60 than wrong... so yes... getting 45 out of the 60 that you are graded on should pass you on the test...but remember you have to take the min of 75 questions....so dont think just b/c you took 60 questions you are done... the computer will shut off when you have completed the test or time has run out on you. how am I suppost to study or choose the right answer for drug questions like adverse reactions? Remember... you are not trying to get them all right. This is also a low level question, which means there is nothing in the stem of the question to help you. Unfortunately, you just have to make the best educated guess you can. Question 42 asks us to facilitate interaction between these two clients. Wouldn't going to a unit activity (#3) just distract them from this outcome? Putting a puzzle together (#4) with the clients allows the nurse to facilitate conversation and interaction between the 2 in a non-threatening manner. Thx. 42. The nurse is assigned to a room with two clients. Both clients are diagnosed with depression and spend most of their time in their room, but do not talk to each other while there. The nursing action that would be most effective in facilitating interaction between these two clients is to: 1. Suggest that they watch television together in their room. 2. Explore with each other their reluctance to engage in conversation. 3. Take them to a unit activity together. 4. Put a puzzle together with them in their room. Two depressed clients…..trying to get them to interact with
