Following project is focused on preventing Hospital acquired infections and plan to protect patient against Hospital Acquired infections.  Patients of focus: Oncology Adult patients with extended stay for chemotherapy induction  Hospital acquired infections are infections that patient can get while receiving treatment in the hospital  Prevention of Hospital Acquired Infections becoming major concern in many hospitals  Safety of patient and protection of patient from acquiring Hospital infections is requirement  Goal is to support health care specialist to be more involved in prevention INTRODUCTION – CONT.  Goal is to implement safety processes in interest of prevention  Include education as soon as admission process starts  Improve reporting and create system of evaluations for patient’s at risk  Increase prevention and control of infection in the health care settings  Develop systems of real time supervision  Analysis shows that the best theory to use would be Roger’s Change Theory.
