There are many additional ideas that can be used to overcome barriers to strategies for disseminating evidence-based practices such as social media. Individuals across the world communicate by a click of button to disseminate information (Chan et al., 2020). As such, medical practitioners can upload their evidence-based proven ideas or information through different social media platforms.

Overcoming Barriers

One of the barriers I have discovered by using social media platform is miscommunication. This occurs when people exchange ideas without clearly understanding each other. It results in data or misinterpretation of information, details and facts thus creating conflicts at the end. The other barrier I identified is nonresponsiveness (Waszak et al., 2018). Those awaiting responses can feel that the other party are intentionally not communicating and are interfering with their capacity to perform the job. It results in noncollaborative and toxic relationship. Additionally, there are no defined and established protocols in communication. Improving communication protocols that all workers are expected to follow involves having a better strategy.
