Why alteration in Oxygenation increases some infections
The change of oxygen level in the blood is what is referred to as oxygenation. The increase or decrease in oxygen level results to some infections. Many of these infections include sickle cell and cardiac disruptions. The reason alteration in oxygenation increases cardiac disorders is because oxygen is needed in order for the heart to function properly. The decrease in oxygen leads to the heart pumping less blood to the arteries which makes the body not to function normally. Oxygen is responsible for the formation of hemoglobin. This is the component that gives the blood its red color. Its decrease in blood thereby increases the risk of sickle cell infections (Kowalski., M. 2010)
Reducing infections caused by alteration in oxygenation
In order to lessen the degree of contagions resulting in change of oxygenation, one should avoid smoking. Smoking reduces the oxygenation flow in the lungs since it blocks the oxygen passageway leading to the limited supply of oxygen. Another way of decreasing is by eating foods that are rich in iron. These kinds of foods increase oxygen in the blood. An example of such is fresh vegetables and fruits such as orange.
Nurses’ interventions that can reduce the risk of altered mobility for patients with alteration in oxygenation
Since these patients are unable to move as they used to and perform their cores, they thereby feel uncomfortable having been infected. The nurse’s inventions are avoiding injuries to such patients. Injuries are responsible for immobility. These patients should also be given food rich in vitamins to reduce risks of being sick which is another cause of stiffness.
Relation between oxygenation and perfusion
Both oxygenation and perfusion can be dissociated, this means that patients infected with coronary artery diseases can reduce perfusion, but this will not lead to de-oxygenation. Patients who are mechanically ventilated are more likely to be infected with dermal pressure ulcers.
Disease processes related to oxygenation that impact an individual’s orientation
Delirium is caused by a disease process outside the brain but affects the brain. It that results from medication administered. It is found in patients suffering from effects brought by drug abuse that could have led to de-oxygenation. This causes hallucination to an individual thus affecting their presentation. (Kowalski., M. 2010)
Detecting lack of oxygenation in the brain
Hypoxemia in the blood is detected when an individual requires attention and makes poor judgments. In severe cases, these patients goes to coma, they also do not show the response of their pupils to light. Usually this is diagnosed by angiogram of the brain, blood tests and CT scan of the head. (Flint., L. 2010)
Reason for tissue swelling and reddening around an injury
These are some of the body’s mechanisms of defense that is supposed to destroy invading microorganisms. Swelling is the first step of the healing process as it prevents further damage and the redness is due to increased blood flow that brings white blood cells responsible for curing.
Effects of perfusion alterations to tissue repair
This leads to the creation of open spaces in the body that might lead to increasing capability in contacting germs. If the patient is not accorded enough care, the wound is likely to expand.
Cognitive impairments a nurse might observe in a client with elevated intracranial pressure
According to Flint, the patient with this infection always lacks energy and therefore they cannot do things alone without help. These patients also have high blood pressure and bradycardia, nurses who care for them watch out for any slight increase in the blood pressure. .( Flint., L. 2010)

Pathophysiology is the process that tries to bring out the physical procedures or mechanisms in which perfusion and cognitive impairments develops and progresses.
Relation between Cardiac output and renal failure
Renal dysfunction is frequent in patients having cardiac output. This is because they worsen each other in many forms including fluid overload and rising venomous pressure.

This is a process that occurs when some processes within a biological system notice and regulates for variations inside the system.
