PasingGrades Community Guidelines

PasingGrades is committed to maintaining a trusted academic marketplace where students can access study resources, collaborate responsibly, and learn more efficiently. These Community Guidelines help protect intellectual property rights, support academic integrity, safeguard personal privacy, and ensure a fair experience for all users.

By using PasingGrades, you agree to follow these guidelines and all applicable laws and regulations.

Copyright and Intellectual Property

Users may upload only content they have created themselves or have the legal right to distribute. By uploading materials to PasingGrades, sellers represent and warrant that they own the necessary rights to the content and that their submissions do not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.

The following content is prohibited:

  • Copyrighted textbooks, eBooks, manuals, or complete books
  • Lecture slides, assignments, examinations, answer keys, or other institutional materials distributed without authorization
  • Logos, images, graphics, tables, charts, or other copyrighted content used without permission
  • Materials copied from other websites, marketplaces, publishers, or third-party platforms
  • Content that violates copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights

PasingGrades reserves the right to remove content that may violate intellectual property laws and to take appropriate action against accounts that repeatedly infringe upon the rights of others.

Privacy and Personal Information

Users must not upload, share, distribute, or publish documents containing personal, confidential, or privacy-sensitive information belonging to another individual.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Patient records or healthcare information
  • Student records
  • Names, addresses, telephone numbers, or email addresses
  • Government-issued identification numbers
  • Financial information
  • Birth dates or other personally identifiable information (PII)

Any content containing unauthorized personal information may be removed without notice. Serious violations may result in account suspension or termination. For more information, see our privacy policy page.

Selling and Sharing Content

PasingGrades is a marketplace for original study resources and educational materials. Users may not sell, upload, distribute, or otherwise offer:

  • Documents purchased from other users on PasingGrades
  • Content acquired from competing marketplaces or websites
  • Materials owned by universities, colleges, instructors, or educational institutions without authorization
  • Resources created by another person without their permission
  • Duplicate or misleading versions of existing content

Users are responsible for ensuring that all uploaded content complies with applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

Academic Integrity

PasingGrades materials are intended solely as study aids and educational resources designed to support learning, revision, and exam preparation.

Users remain responsible for complying with the academic integrity policies of their schools, colleges, universities, licensing bodies, and professional organizations.

Materials obtained through PasingGrades must not be submitted as original coursework, assignments, essays, research papers, discussion posts, examinations, or any other work intended for academic credit.

As stipulated in our Terms of Use page, any misuse of platform content that results in plagiarism, academic misconduct, or policy violations is the sole responsibility of the user.

Artificial Intelligence and External Resources

Study materials available on PasingGrades may be used alongside artificial intelligence tools and other educational resources. Users are responsible for ensuring that any work submitted for academic credit complies with their institution's policies regarding artificial intelligence, external assistance, and academic integrity.

The use of AI-generated content does not exempt users from academic honesty requirements or institutional rules.

Communication and Off-Platform Transactions

To protect buyers and sellers, all marketplace transactions should remain on PasingGrades.

Users may not:

  • Share email addresses, telephone numbers, social media accounts, or other contact information for the purpose of conducting business outside the platform
  • Encourage buyers or sellers to complete transactions outside PasingGrades
  • Circumvent platform fees, protections, or policies
  • Solicit payments through external channels

Attempts to bypass the platform may result in account restrictions or removal.

Multiple Accounts and Marketplace Manipulation

Users may not create or operate multiple accounts for the purpose of gaining an unfair advantage.

Prohibited activities include:

  • Purchasing your own content
  • Manipulating ratings, reviews, downloads, or marketplace rankings
  • Operating multiple seller accounts without authorization
  • Uploading duplicate content across multiple accounts
  • Engaging in deceptive or fraudulent behavior

PasingGrades reserves the right to investigate suspicious account activity and take corrective action when necessary.

Messaging and Platform Conduct

The messaging system is provided to facilitate legitimate communication between users.

The following activities are prohibited:

  • Sending spam or unsolicited messages
  • Promoting commercial services unrelated to PasingGrades
  • Sharing contact information to conduct business outside the platform
  • Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users
  • Distributing offensive, unlawful, or inappropriate content

Users are expected to communicate respectfully and professionally at all times.

Purchased Content

Documents purchased through PasingGrades are licensed for personal educational use only.

Users may not:

  • Redistribute purchased materials
  • Share purchased documents with third parties
  • Upload purchased documents to other websites or marketplaces
  • Resell content acquired from PasingGrades
  • Remove ownership information, watermarks, or attribution where applicable

Copyright ownership remains with the original creator unless otherwise stated.

Reporting Violations

If you believe content violates copyright, privacy rights, academic integrity standards, or these Community Guidelines, please report it through our designated reporting channels.

PasingGrades reviews reports and takes appropriate action when violations are confirmed.

Enforcement Actions

PasingGrades reserves the right to investigate potential violations of these Community Guidelines and take any action deemed necessary to protect the platform, its users, and rights holders.

Enforcement actions may include:

  • Content removal
  • Warning notices
  • Temporary account restrictions
  • Permanent account suspension or termination
  • Withholding or reversal of payouts where permitted by law
  • Cooperation with legal authorities when required

Repeated or serious violations may result in permanent removal from the platform.

Updates to These Guidelines

PasingGrades may update these Community Guidelines from time to time to reflect changes in legal requirements, platform policies, or marketplace practices. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised guidelines.
