Life needs people to be perfect, but people always don’t work towards perfecting. The Society is full of lies and full of hypocrisy. If given a chance I will not like to live in this 21st century. This is portrayed in Jonathan Barrett arts of work. According to him, he wishes for the world that is faultless. The nature of the society is what disguises him. Thinking of the coming generation I perceive it even more disgusting. We are held to live with the fact that many are not sure of what happens when an individual dies.
Others are held to live in this world because of their families. When a mother thinks of committing suicide she remembers the responsibility she has of taking care of her children, she retreats and decides to live again.
Currently, many people view things just as they are. Daily happenings including arts of work are supposed to be seen in a new light. Nearly everything has got a hidden meaning. We are supposed of us to find out their meaning.
Sources of laughter such as comedy are usually used as a stress relieving agent, but people should not try to find ways of laughing even when faced with trouble or ailment. On the contrary, they should try and find out solutions to problems and life puzzles. These solutions might be unique and different but still answers the same problems.
Humor is usually portrayed in works of art, and a good example is in Barrett’s works of art. According to him, acrylic are malleable but its layers built up one after the other. Therefore, it is hard to remove a layer without leaving behind pieces of the removed layers. It can be used to create the best art but still it is the easiest to destroy. This applies to life. You can used different interlinked ideas to create a mega solution to life that might even result in wealth. Still the property can be destroyed in the shortest moment possible no matter the time you used looking for it. In Barrett’s works of art, he paints pictures of soldiers going to war. They have ranks; this is shown by the different colors of uniform some of them have. It is evident they have trained for so long and are confident of winning a battle, but the outcome is usually unpredictable. In a war one might die just in one bullet, that is just in few seconds no matter how long the person took to train and how many individuals are looking up to him. That is the saddest part of life. It is not permanent, and it does not care.
In our day to day life, people usually leave not knowing what to expect next. They stand by the rules and do not think for themselves. They are left wondering as someone guides them along. Those who take leadership positions themselves are blind and do not visualize things as they are supposed to be perceived. Since they have taken control of peoples mind and believed to know. People just follow blindly no matter the lies they are told, to them they just believe it is the truth. This lack of having a profound insight is what has made the world the way it is.
In life, it is not a must to be taught to understand life. Creativity in art best develops when one is not taught. This is because one can view things without the mind of a tutor. When one is taught the works of art and life, it limits their thinking. Art is a perfect illusion to life.
