
Kinsey is an exclusive movie which enlighten us of issues concerning sex. It brings out the character of Kinsey as the most known famous scientist. It’s played by Liam Nelson an award winning actor as Kinsey and Laura Linney awarded as the best supporting actress as the wife to Kinsey.
He becomes a lecturer and gives an introduction of sexual behavior in his new class. He elaborates on the act of sexual behaviors that were mesmerizing in1947. Kinsey encouraged his staff to have sex with one another and recorded the act. These was to enable him to understand his findings well enough. Kinsey does not keep secrets and he lets the cat out of the basket by telling his wife what he has been up to. His wife sobs dearly but later on she understands him. she acts as his protector and uses hilarious lines,” I think I might like that”.
The most captivating part in the movie is when the president Hemen Wells (Oliver Platt) tries to stop Kinsey from becoming his own enemy through using of provocative statements.
As the movie comes to an end Kinsey changes his career to hectoring as he gets older. He puts more emphasis to his theories where he found out that people can be either homosexual or heterosexual.
The movie has taught me on the importance of human sexuality and understand gays and lesbianism in the society. Through Kinsey redefinition on sexual behavior it has enabled universities to teach the use of contraceptives and safe sex though criticism arises as oppositions to that.
